There ain't nothing wet about Donatella's mermaids
These are some hard-ass sirens. Footnote: as a rule we are a bit over platforms. But I loved how the slab of lucite under the sandals made it seem as though the girls were rising from the catwalk -Jess Cartner-Morley

A Handbag You Will Want. Oh! And leopard shoes
This is the Jimmy Choo ‘hero’ bag for next season: the Justine. (As in, the 1969 film. You have to say it with a French accent: Zhoo-steeeen.) A properly useful, good-sized hangbag with a whole lot of fashion attitude. Also, a pair of Jimmy Choo Gail sandals in cream leopard. Just when you think you’re over leopard, right? - Jess Cartner-Morley

The most comfortable high heels EVER.
Look, I said the most comfortable HIGH HEELS. Noone is pretending these Jimmy Choo Inga sandals are slippers. Sheesh. But the upper of these babies is stretch suede - honestly, it is like wearing socks! The end of strap-dig! Just the small matter of a 130mm heel to walk in, but hey…there’s a platform to help you out - Jess Cartner-Morley

Maxmara
Maxmara. On the catwalk: mostly skinny white chicks in deconstructed aqua shift dresses. On the front row: Chinese It girls in classic Maxmara cashmere coats. No prizes fir guessing which is more reflective of the label’s bottom line. - Jess Cartner-Morley
